Dearborn County RTA Wins National Award

The Dearborn County Retired Teachers Association was informed in July 2011 that its Community Service Project, Apples, Apples, Apples was one of three community service projects across the nation that was awarded the distinguished WITH OUR YOUTH award by the National Retired Teachers Association at its national convention.   The Dearborn County members were presented this award at the Retired Teachers’ Appreciation and Rally Day program at the Indiana Statehouse on October 19.  The award recognition is the first time that a local Indiana RTA has received this award.  Further information about the award is available under ASSOCIATION NEWS.
