2012 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

 

The Dearborn County Retired Teachers Association holds four fellowship gatherings a year.  The get-togethers are held on the third Wednesdays of April, June, August, and October. 

 

April 18, 2012 – The first Association get-together will be held at the RidgeWood Health Campus; 181 Campus Drive; Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  Our Association has several members living there and we want to include them in our opening get-together.  Ridgewood is located northwest of Dearborn County Hospital.  Coming from Lawrenceburg, Campus Drive is located on the left side of State Highway 48.  Because of the needs of the Health Campus, the time for our Association activity will be different from the schedule listed below.  Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m.  The meal will be at approximately 5:30 p.m., followed by the entertainment and a short meeting.

 

The June, August, and October get-togethers will be held on the 3rd floor at Ivy Tech Community College on Walnut Street in Lawrenceburg.  Parking is available on the street or in the Ivy Tech parking garage.  An elevator is located in the garage to take you to the 3rd floor.  Parking tickets can be validated on the 2nd floor for free parking.  Association activity times are listed below.

4:30 p.m. registration and social time

5:00 p.m. catered dinner

5:45 p.m. program/entertainment

6:15 p.m. business meeting

 

The cost for a meal reservation is $11.00.

 

Meal reservations can be made by contacting Denise Kaffenberger, Social Planning Chair (812-537-3520) or Jim Pierce, President (812-623-5125).   Please remember that once a reservation is made, DCRTA is responsible to the caterer for that expense.  If you make a meal reservation and later find that you will be unable to attend, please re-contact Denise Kaffenberger to cancel no later than the Saturday before the meeting.
